Supervises Program Coordinator and Residential Youth Counselor (RYC) Relief staff and has responsibility for the effective management of the Student Program. Will serve as a member of the PRI Management Team.
Deliverables include hiring, orientation, training and development, scheduling and engagement of staff. Actively involved with and supporting the therapeutic needs of the students.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Demonstrated ability to implement a program vision and execute on goals, provide sound judgment, leadership, integrity, patience, commitment and a sense of humour.
University education in relevant discipline is required.
Experience with and training in child and youth care practices in a mental health or youth addiction program preferred.
Demonstrated ability to be creative, flexible, self-motivated and professional with a commitment to personal growth and development.
Valid First Aid Certification & Level ‘C’ CPR. Instructor level ideal.
Valid F Class Driver’s License (obtaining F Class within 6 months if not qualified at employee’s cost)
