Seasonal Out-Trip Food Coordinator

Strathcona Park Lodge & Outdoor Education Centre British Columbia, Canada

Job Description

The Lodge is a rewarding and fun place to work for those that love adventure and nature. We are entirely off the grid and focus on the environment while introducing clients and students to the outdoors.

Strathcona Park Lodge is the real thing – an off the grid, environmentally sustainable community of wilderness enthusiasts who love to share adventures with other staff and guests from around the planet.  We offer a healthy and respectful work environment. We work to exemplify our core values of Stewardship, doing More with Less, Challenge by Choice, Living on the Edge, Happy Warrior and Generosity of Spirit.

Our season runs from March until November.

The Out-Trip Food Coordinator organizes and packs the food for the many SPL out-trips and therefore needs to be very systematic and organized.  The trips may be for one to ten days and as many as twenty-four groups of twelve can be out during the same week.  You need to be able to work fast! The OTF Coordinator gets plenty of support from the Programs and Kitchen staff and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

If you are the go to food person for your trips or are super organized you’ll be a great fit!
