ONadventure Wilderness Tours (Rafting NL) is looking for an experienced Safety Kayaker who can also fill in as a Raft Guide as needed for Class III rapids.

The ideal candidate must possess the necessary river skills to properly read the water and safely guide all clients down the river, even at high water levels.  In addition to exceptional kayak skills, the applicant must also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to entertain our clients. It is also preferred that they possess a strong desire to teach new and intermediate kayakers. Trainer certification is a plus.  Preference will be given to guides who have experience with center and stern mounted oar frame rafts.   All guides must be at least 18 years old, physically fit and have current First Aid and CPR certification. Preference will be given to those individuals with WFR, WEMT, and Swiftwater Rescue certifications.

You will also be expected to work as a Rafting Guide as needed.  Training will be provided.  Rafting Guide job description is available here.
