The Waterfront Supervisor position will supervise activities located at our lakeside swim area at Bert Sheppard Scout Reserve's Camp Impeesa.. This includes swim periods, waterfront events and canoeing activity. We are looking for someone with supervisory experience and a high level of maturity. This position will also work closely with the camp ranger on the daily maintenance and up keep of the waterfront and other various locations around camp. The waterfront supervisor will work with our program coordinator in helping run other camp program areas including zip line, archery range and obstacle course. The waterfront supervisor will look after the daily cleaning and up keep of the camp washhouse.
This position includes full room and board and a weekly salary. Inquire with application.

21years old +
Standard First Aid and CPR
Current NLS certificate
Current swimming instructor certificate an asset
Current Lifesaveing society instructor certificate an asset
Experience guarding and teaching swimming lessons an asset
Provide a clear police record check
Comfortable in a rustic type of accommodation including basic cabin and/or tent
Good fitness ability
Ability to work with others
Experience working with youth in a summer camp environment an asset
Abilities in problem solving
Willingness to learn new skills
