The Program Assistant plays a key role in delivering the Schools and Scouting program at the Bert Sheppard Scout Reserve’s Camp Gardner, located just outside of Calgary near Bragg Creek, AB. Over the summer, this position will assist the senior programmer in helping with summer camp and delivering programs to all other camp users.
This position provides full room and board and a paid weekly salary. Inquire with application.

Standard First Aid and CPR
Provide a clear police record check
Comfortable in a rustic type of accommodation including basic cabin and/or tent
Good fitness ability
Able to work full days of 8 hours + in all weather and conditions including weekends
Ability to work with others and take direction
Able to work independently
Abilities in problem solving
Willingness to learn new skills
Experience in youth program delivery an asset
Any prior camp experience an asset
Experience in outdoor pursuits an asset
