We are seeking a detail-oriented, friendly, ethical individual with great communication skills to join our company as an entry-level Human Resources Assistant. As an entry-level Human Resources Assistant, you will perform diversified clerical and administrative support to one or more functional areas within Human Resources.

Ideally you will have:
• Education or experience related to Human Resources
• Knowledge of basic human resources functions and procedures
• Excellent command of the English language
• Good judgment and great ethics
• Ability to operates as an ambassador of the company (leading by example)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal appropriately with sensitive issues
• Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Customer service focused

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Providing advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies procedures and documentation
• Explaining employment benefits and general terms and conditions of employment to employees and department supervisors and managers
• Administering, monitoring and supporting various company programs i.e. Arc U, orientations, exit interviews
• Providing general clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department
• Creating, updating and maintaining information for employees i.e. newsletter and bulletin boards
• Assisting with departmental projects
• Assisting with preparing reports and administering surveys
• Providing assistance to Office Services as needed, i.e. reception coverage
