Answering inquiries by telephone or email, communicating trip information, prices, and inclusions , customizing trips and trip costings with excel, providing information about adventure trips, Log Cabin Lodge and Cottage Outpost, entering information into database, taking bookings on telephone, internet, fax, processing payments 
e-mailing Invoice, driving maps, clothing suggestions to customers

TOUR LOGISTICS
Printing, faxing, e-mailing guest detail information to guides, guide schedule coordination, supplier coordination – dog sledding, canoe rentals, transportation etc., excel spread sheets for operation on complicated days

MARKETING
Web site maintenance, itinerary changes, photo changes and organization, newsletters, pr and advertising

ACCOUNTING
Staff payroll, payment of operating and office bills, input expenses, seasonal budgets, cash flow projections 

MULTI - FUNCTION 
Picking up/ dropping off vans

Daily hours are 9am – 5pm  at our home office in Toronto. 
Salary  $500-600  based on experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical outdoor enthusiast to join our Forecasting team.  As a Sales and Inventory Analyst, you will assist with forecasting sales for a range of product categories, work with sales and other department managers to create and manage forecasts throughout the sales cycle, and works to optimize the planning and allocation of inventory for retail stores.

What we’re looking for:
•	An avid outdoor enthusiast
•	2-3 years experience in wholesale and/or retail inventory management (buying, forecast analysis, etc.), preferably within the outdoor or ski industries
•	University education in Economics, Mathematics, Business or Statistics
•	Detail-oriented with advanced analytical skills; very experienced with Excel, MS Access or Sequel, and other analytical tools

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for completing all cash and safe management responsibilities, providing leadership to the cashiers and working with employees in the store and at head office to complete tasks.  Specific responsibilities include:

•Lead the team of Cashiers.
•Complete Daily Sales Reconciliation (DSR) and A/R Activity using spreadsheets.  Track store sales, discrepancies, shortages and overages.  Maintain customer balances and all A/R activity in the store.  
•Prepare reports from JPOS and Retail.net and use information for reconciliation of daily sales, operations, transfers and cash management.  
•Reconcile the safe.  Ensure that incoming cash flow is correct and be able to account for all the money at all times.  Ensure that the safe has enough money to be able to conduct business.
•Track any money coming out of the store tills for store use.  Ensure that they are within budget.  Obtain necessary approvals and forward backup for transactions to head office.
•Balance deposits and ensure that there are no discrepancies.  Complete the deposit form and bundle with the cash to go to the bank.  Ensure all managers on duty follow proper closing procedures.
•Maintain employee data for payroll purposes. Submit payroll information to head office within set deadlines.  Track vacation time taken.  Resolve payroll discrepancies with the payroll department


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•Minimum 2 years of supervisory and administrative experience, preferably in a retail environment.
•Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration an asset.
•Excellent math and computer skills. Experience with point of sale systems and spreadsheets is necessary.
•Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills.  Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for meeting the Loss Prevention and Environmental Health &amp; Safety (LP and EH&amp;S) objectives of the company.  Administer and facilitate the company’s LP and EH&amp;S program in the assigned store in order to protect company assets and improve profitability.  Specific responsibilities include:
•Complete incident reports, conduct internal investigations and implement corrective actions.   Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents and urgent issues as they arise.
•Implement local laws for each province in regards to citizens arrest, civil recoveries, and bad debt collections.   Stay current on legislation/standards for LP and EH&amp;S and make recommendations for improvement.  Act as a liaison with all relevant external agencies for LP and EH&amp;S.    
•Minimize the financial losses related to theft, vandalism, accident and injury.  Monitor all frauds, including cheque, credit card and returns.    
•Conduct audits and complete audit reports.  Review each store’s key performance reports and follow up on discrepancies.
•Conduct Safety Committee meetings and LP and EH&amp;S training sessions.  Interact regularly with all staff in the store. 

Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•2 to 4 years of LP and EH&amp;S experience, preferably in a retail environment.  Courses in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice or Security preferred.  Current First Aid/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain. Current Firearms Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) or in process of obtaining.
•Familiarity with Closed Circuit TV, Alarm and Access Control Systems an asset.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.  Excellent communication and time management skills.
•Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
