			<title>Bicycle Tour Cook</title>

			<description>Cycle Canada, The Veloforce Corporation is a Canadian company that has been conducting cycling tours throughout Canada since 1988. Our business is unique and is expanding every year. The jobs we are seeking to fill are for the summer and are very challenging and exciting. Working for us means you will be travelling all summer and you will be away from your home turf. 

We are looking for 2 individuals to assist us with our 2012 schedule of cycling events in Canada. You will be supporting bicycle tour groups preparing meals for cyclists participating in our bicycle tours  throughout Canada. 

Work begins in Ontario in mid May with a training and preparation period, plus you will support a weekend cycling rally. After the training and preparation period employees will then drive or travel to the start of the tour(s) and travel from point to point on each daily stop. You will be preparing dinner for cyclists and we require people with outstanding cooking skills in an outdoor kitchen/galley.  You will be responsible for inventory management, provisioning.

Employees generally work in teams of 2 with some additional support at times during the summer. 

The positions start mid to end May 2012 finishing late August or early September, in Southern Ontario for a term of 16 weeks.  This is a contract position, paying am attractive competitive salary for the work term. Room and board is included in the salary and provided for the full work term, accommodation is mainly camping. 

Successful candidates will be required to provide report(s) on their driving and insurance record and three references. Positions are open to Canadian citizens or residents with valid work visas.

We look for mature independent individuals to work for us. Since our positions require a variety of skills, in reviewing resumes we look consider all work experience, volunteer activities, clubs and sports

Class G (or equivalent for other provinces) driver's licence.

Must be insurable - shortlisted candidates will be required to provide a three year history of any claims as well as a driver's abstract 

Enjoys outdoor living 

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 

Strong interpersonal skills

Food handling courses an asset 

Courses in health and safety such as CPR are an asset. 

A desire to see and travel throughout Canada

			<description>Position Title: Treetop Trekking Horseshoe Site Manager
Reports to: Jamie Hesser, Regional Manager
Start Date:  February (one year contract with a 3 month probation period, with potential to renew)

Summary of Position
The site manager is responsible for all daily site operations. They are also responsible for actively promoting the Horseshoe site and attending regular networking opportunities.

Qualifications
Ø	University or College degree in a related field
Ø	Current First Aid and CPR. Wilderness first aid is considered an asset
Ø	Experience in a leadership role
Ø	Must be detail-oriented with excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ø	Working knowledge on aerial courses is an asset
Ø	Excellent computer skills. Experience with excel is required.

Responsibilities as Site Manager
Ø	All duties relating to human resources.  (hiring, training, staff discipline, payroll, etc.)
Ø	Ensure T.S.S.A. regulations are being met or exceeded
Ø	Oversee the reservations system and making changes if need be
Ø	Oversee all maintenance needs on the office and courses
Ø	Address customer complaints
Ø	Responsible for marketing opportunities specific to Horseshoe
Ø	Responsible for building relationships within the community (example: Chamber of Commerce)
Ø	Continue building a positive working relationship with Horseshoe Resort
Ø	Attend regular networking opportunities ( Trade shows, Business after 5, etc.)
Ø	Oversee daily operations of the park
Ø	Ensure all W.S.I.B. requirements are being met ( monthly meetings, posters, guides, etc.)
Ø	Account for all cash and make deposits

Additional Information
Ø	Position is based on a 40 hour working week, these hours may change based on season. 
(For example: winter 30 hours, summer 50 hours)


Compensation
Ø	Base salary of $32,000-$38,000 (based on experience) paid bi-weekly 
Ø	A commission bonus based on target sales
Ø	3 weeks paid vacation.
